An exciting opportunity awaits a seasoned Senior Design Engineer for a role OUTSIDE IR35 in the Sheffield area. The role pivotal in conceptual design and detailed manufacturing drawings within various engineering sectors. This role demands expertise in large-scale Machinery Build, Mechanical Handling, or Rotary Machinery Projects.

The suitable candidates will require their own portable computer with either a Solidworks or Inventor license.

Ideal for individuals with a robust background in complex engineering projects, adept at managing multiple projects to stringent deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising across teams and with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and adapt bespoke products using SolidWorks and InventorLead complex engineering projects from concept to delivery and installationLiaise with shop floor staff, engineers, and clients throughout projectsProvide technical consultancy to define project specifications with clientsManage and coordinate multiple projects from design to customer delivery, focusing on critical paths for timely, high-quality outcomes

In return you'll receive a rate of 40- 45/hr ltd for a minimum 6 month contract.
