Role: Senior Procurement Manager – IT Categories
Location: Leeds Base Location, with 3 days in office
Salary: c.GBP85,000 and excellent benefits package

We are recruiting a Senior Procurement Manager with backgrounds in IT categories , and you will lead a team focused on IT category management, tendering, and contract negotiation.
The role will take responsibility for growth of the IT category teams, leading and mentoring, as well as setting and managing IT category strategy. This is a growing and developing organisation and the role offers a great opportunity for you to be part of building and developing a team, and progressing your career by implementing new processes and delivering cost savings.
You will have experience of implementing IT procurement strategy, and leading complex tendering processes, setting up contracts and managing vendor performance.Managing and supporting stakeholders through the procurement process.Delivering service and value improvement from hardware, software, IT services and IT development categories.Building and developing professional procurement functions, and instilling best practice.Experience in public sector procurement would be ideal.
