Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service are looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join us and enhance our excellent team based in Exeter. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis (37 hours per week). In return you will receive a competitive salary of GBP48,587 - GBP52,252 per annum. For an excellent candidate we will consider a market supplement to the salary range stated for this role.

About the role:
As our Senior Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) you will provide a tactical interface between People Services and the Service to meet the strategic human resource needs of DSFRS. You will operate as the DSFRS Employee and Industrial relations expert and advise senior leaders on complex People matters as appropriate.
You will lead, guide and advise the HRBP team to provide high quality people management and development support across the Service, including employee relations & legislation, organisational development, talent management, succession planning, reward, employee development.

Key responsibilities as an Senior Human Resources Business Partner:
Leading and managing the HRBP team to deliver high quality HR advice and guidance to leaders, managers and employees Leading People Services in the development and implementation of best practice policies, procedures and practices in line with employment law and government recommendations on all HR subject matters and issues Providing expert advice and guidance on core and complex employee relations issues and escalated cases as appropriate Providing expert industrial relations advice and guidance and lead appropriate HR actions to enable the delivery of service plans, projects and initiatives Leading on and championing the use of HR data to inform HR advice and provide insight for decision making and strategy development What we are looking for in our Senior Human Resources Business Partner:
