About The Role:
Your new role will support the development of strategic HR initiatives whilst shaping, implementing, and maintaining HR policies at Walsall Council You will support the pay and rewards strategy, including maintenance of the pay structure using the NJC job evaluation scheme You will influence stakeholders across the council and enable informed decision making by contributing to the provision of HR management information You will need:
We are looking for you to be CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience in providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers Detailed knowledge of employment law, along with experience of developing HR policies and / or experience of job evaluation are key Good Microsoft Office skills are essential as you will be frequently using the full range of applications This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced, HR professional wishing to gain strategic exposure and experience in policy, pay and reward.
