Position: HCA Team Leader - Nights
As an HCA Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of Healthcare Assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our clients' residents. In addition to the responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the team, coordinate care plans, and act as a point of contact for residents and their families. Position: HCA Team Leader Location: Leyland Hours per Week: 33 Hourly Rate: 12.20 NVQ Level 2 or 3 Required Key Responsibilities:
Leading and supervising a team of Healthcare Assistants. Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility. Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Requirements:
Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is needed Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
