50K to 60k Hybrid Flexi-working Enhanced Benefits Contract

Brilliant opportunity to advance your career in finance with our PE-backed high-growth client, based in Cheshire, offering a hybrid working model (2 days office-based), we are actively seeking a dynamic Senior Group Financial Accountant for a maternity cover spanning 18 months.

As a key figure of their finance team, you will directly report to the Financial Controller, in charge of month-end processes and monthly reporting. Your responsibilities will involve reviewing, strategic planning, and dedicated support, ensuring critical deadlines are met.

We are in search of an adept candidate possessing a well-rounded blend of technical expertise in month-end processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, serving as a mentor to guide and empower direct reports, while adeptly managing the demands of the role from day one.

Proficiency in Excel is important for success in this role, as you will engage in financial modeling to contribute to the group's strategic objectives.

This role would suit qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA candidates including newly qualified professionals who have previously held management or supervisory positions.

If you have experience in pro-actively leading complex projects that have led to improved control and efficiency, and you have experience in preparing a full set of statutory accounts (FRS or IFSRS)
