A leading Specialty Insurance & Reinsurance business who have shown significant growth across the Group are building out their FP&A team with the addition of a talented, commercial accountant. The role will play a key part in producing the analysis and commentary to aid decision making and ensure that the management and leadership teams are kept informed about financial performance.

Prepare and present financial analysis to support commercial decision making.Support the delivery of quarterly financial information.Assist with finance projects relating to the improvement of processes or strategic initiatives.Demonstrates awareness and understanding of the Business Unit & Segment strategy and FP&A activities through effective judgement and analysis.Supports the implementation of the Finance strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets. Assist in various aspects of production and analysis of the Groups internal MI.Assist with financial close process in order to meet reporting deadlines.Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and designing and implementing associated enhancements.Collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across Underwriting lines of business, Group Finance, Segment Finance, Reserving, Pricing, Outwards Reinsurance Accounting, Investments and Strategy.Assist in the preparation of detailed analysis of the Group result with informed commentary which explains the key drivers and how these relate to the performance of the business. The ideal candidate will have significant post qualified experience across then (Re)Insurance sector and will have the ability to work with large data sets to produce insights and analysis. You should have a could grasp of the fundamentals of insurance accounting and have been in a finance team of a non-life insurance business.
