Senior Electronics Engineer - Bristol - GBP80,000 - GBP100,000 DOE

nGenium have partnered with an rapidly growing technology business based in the Bristol area. The company require a talented Senior electronics engineer to lead on the development of the business s new technology projects.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

• Engineering Degree

• Ability to research and design new technologies. This will include specifying, testing and evaluating components and designs.

• Design experience for harsh environments high temperature, high shock and vibration.

• Experience of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for schematics and PCB layout.

• An understanding of Analogue filters

• Proficient in use of Sensors (accelerometers, magnetometers, gyros)

• Proficient in the design and use of Switch-mode power supplies (SMPS)

• Good working knowledge of small AC generators

• An excellent understanding of Motors/controllers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of the following is desired but not a requirement.

• 7- 10 years experience, in a similar role

• Design experience for harsh environments high temperature, high shock and vibration.

• Microcontrollers

• Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC)

• Flash and EEPROM memory

• Mathematics (real world)

• Altium Designer (schematic and PCB design)

• Orcad Capture (legacy schematic tool)

• Pspice or Simetrix (circuit simulation)
