Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services)

We are recruiting for one of the finalists for the Building Services Consultancy of the Year within the CIBSE Building Performance Awards. This fast-paced M&E Consultancy is now looking to recruit a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.

They are organically growing their Head office in an excellent location in Manchester City Centre. The Role:

Lead building projects of various sizes whilst acting as direct support to the Principal Electrical Engineer, taking an active role in project leadership and client-facing activity. Support graduate engineers with technical expertise and mentor less experienced team members Take an active role in pushing forward the skills and abilities of the Mechanical team members, including supervising junior engineers Offer consultancy advice and prepare design reports, specifications and drawings in a timely fashion and within budget Share and expand knowledge through participation at relevant skills networks As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be exposed to both people management and hands-on design, with the bulk of your work seeing you take ownership over a project with the support from Principal/Associate level Engineers.
