Title: Senior Ecologist
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000
Location: London
My client is looking to add to their environmental consultancy and bring in a Senior Ecologist to
work on a variety of projects in transportation, residential and commercial development, and renewable energy. The project work will be diversified, encompassing a wide range of ecological services and ensuring a healthy balance of field and desk-based work.
The job will entail managing and conducting ecological surveys, reporting, designing ecological mitigation measures, and negotiating with key parties.

Qualifications/Experience
Solid understanding of UK ecological legislation and planning policies.Ideally experience in both linear infrastructure and property development projects.Full CIEEM membership.Chartered Ecologist or working towards this status.Responsibilities
Managing and supervising environmental elements of projects, as well as advising customers on schemes such as mixed-use and residential developments, minerals/waste projects, infrastructure, and energy projects.Preparation of fee proposals and scope of work, report drafting, and technical assessment of peer and subcontractor reports.Coordinating and carrying out ecological surveys, as well as creating high-quality reports that include habitat and species surveys.Supervision and mentorship of ecological staff.Undertaking ecological mitigation design and delivery.
