Salary: GBP32,715.70 per annum - Band D Level 3- inclusive of 15% Market Supplement and Outer London Weighting (Without Live in accommodation). GBP30,955.70 per annum - Band D Level 3- inclusive of 15% Market Supplement (With Live in accommodation)
Term: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Mon- Fri (7am 3pm or 11am 7pm) (required to do some later nights and weekends)

About the Senior Cook Role:
As Scouts Adventure Cook you will be responsible for preparing and cooking set cycle menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to cater to our diverse guests. The role will include all aspects of food preparation, food service, kitchen hygiene and other duties associated with the running of the kitchen and food service operations.
They will also assist Catering Operations Manager with the planning and the overseeing of the kitchen team for large scale event that are hosted at GiIlwell Park.
What we are looking for in our Senior Cook:
Someone who is passionate about producing great wholesome food for our visitors and team. You ll be excellent at planning, organising and working in team to ensure the best possible experience for everyone dining on centre.
You ll have a great understanding of what young people need to get them through a busy day in the outdoors and be able to build relationships with key local and national suppliers to ensure we achieve best value for money while maintaining a good quality menu.
Key responsibilities as our Senior Cook:
Managing the kitchen team and ensuring that they deliver safe high quality food in a clean environment. Train and lead the volunteer team to follow set catering standards Preparation and cooking of a varied range of nutritious food for guests and staff at mealtimes Serve the food to an exceptional standard and interact with the guests and volunteers in an appropriate, knowledgeable and helpful way at all times, in particular with regard to allergens and other dietary requirements Assist in the service and clearing of all food, beverages and utensils As our Senior Cook in return, we offer you:
