The role sits within the University’s Transformation team, reporting to the Associate Director of Continuous Improvement within the Strategy, Planning & Analytics Directorate (SPA).
The Transformation team supports the senior leadership of the university in effective strategy execution and driving sustainable improvements to our core business. The Continuous Improvement team collaboratively work with individuals and teams across Kings to identify improvement opportunities in processes and in services to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, add value and deliver an improved experience to our staff and students. The Continuous Improvement Team also operates as a Centre of Excellence to support and train colleagues in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques.
The postholder will be responsible for designing and delivering training to build capability across Kings. This may be in the form of facilitating workshops, delivering masterclasses, 1-2-1 coaching and playing a key role in our CI Community of Practice.
The Senior Continuous Improvement Manager will also work on a range of complex and/or large-scale improvement projects applying Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques in their delivery. The person carrying out this role will be accountable for ensuring work is scoped appropriately, delivered in a timely manner, improvements are identified and implemented, and accurate reporting is produced.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
