SENIOR CONFIGURATION ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - VIA UMBRELLA - 45 PER HOUR - STEVENAGE - UNDERGO BPSS/SC - 6 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS
Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Senior Configuration Engineer to work an initial 6 month contract (with likely externsion) from our client's site in Stevenage.
Skillset/Experience Required: The successful Configuration Management Specialist should possess:

Reflecting engineering input through the engineering change process into the design definition/structure, utilizing the company PLM tool Windchill.Managing, on behalf of the project, the correct design definitions for potentially multiple product variants and successfully implementing engineering changes against the appropriate instances.Reviewing engineering changes for the respective project to ensure business processes are applied, and approbation controls laid out by projects are adhered to. Acceptance or rejection of changes as appropriate.Providing draft Configuration Management document updates to the project Configuration Manager ahead of the appropriate review period.Comprehensive and timely preparation for Configuration Meetings, providing data to the Configuration Manager and project team against agreed timescales ahead of associated meetings.Ensuring control of project design definitions is adhered to across the development, production, and in-service phases to provide comprehensive status accounting information to the customer.Establishing working relationships with key stakeholders and serving as a focal point of contact for day-to-day activities with project and engineering teams.Offering support and guidance to project areas regarding applicable Engineering Change methodologies appropriate to the product or equipment lifecycle, with agreed processes documented and in practice.
