International defence contractor require a Senior Commercial Contract Officer. Applicants need; commercial, contracts or legal experience, ideally within a defence, aerospace, construction, public sector or similarly regulated environment.
The Senior Commercial Contract Officer will join a large and supportive, multi-disciplined commercial team. Working closely with other Commercial Officers and Commercial Managers, the Senior Commercial Officer support new and on-going contracts/programmes.
This is an exciting, full commercial lifecycle opportunity in which the Senior Commercial Officer will support bids/tenders, negotiate and manage contracts (customer and supplier), change management and claims.
Specific duties of the Senior Commercial Contract Officer include:
Support commercial input into bids and proposals to develop risk/reward balanceSupport contract negotiations with customers and key suppliersProvide contract management support and advice to programme and project stakeholdersIdentify and report key obligations, liabilities and risks to the businessDevelop long term relationships with; customers, suppliers and stakeholdersMaintain contract database, customer and supplier records
Senior Commercial Contract Officer Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience working with contracts, commercial, sales, procurement, or legal agreementsCommercial acumen and an understanding of; bids, tenders, proposals, negotiations and contract managementAbility to build strong relationships with Project and Programme ManagersDegree educated or a qualification within contract management (IACCM, CCMP) or procurement (CIPS)Experience in industry; defence, aerospace, public, construction or regulated environment
