We are currently recruiting for a Senior Building Surveyor to join a multi-disciplinary practice based in their Barnet office.
This offers an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team of Chartered Building Surveyors, working across the Midlands and the South. As a small team of around 13 members, you will be immediately welcomed into an inclusive and professional working environment.
The company works across a variety of sectors including commercial, private and public ensuring a diverse workload and project portfolio. Their surveying services cover Defect Diagnostic and Repairs, Statutory Approvals, Architectural Design, Party Wall and Principal Designer, and more to give you a wide scope of activities to keep you occupied from day to day.
Having built a high-quality reputation for its project delivery and execution, this business is now looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to carry out more projects to this high standard. Tasks on these projects will include consultation on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites, so candidates should be experienced in the field and have good understanding of CAD, CDM Regs 2015, The Party Wall Act 1996, Building Regulation and Planning Legislation.
Furthermore, applicants should be efficient, organised and reliable to carry out report writing and work independently, playing an active part in promoting the company s services to secure projects and secure new business.
Candidates will need to be MRICS or experienced non-RICS qualified, as well as having a full UK driving license. In addition, the company is looking for individuals who are committed to a long-term career at the practice so this must be considered.
The salary for this position ranges from GBP50,000 to GBP65,000 depending on previous experience, as well as numerous further benefits, including car allowance, payment of professional membership fees, private medical and life insurance, and a pension scheme.
