Fantastic opportunity to work for an award winning practice offering Architectural, Building Surveying and Interior Design Services in multiple sectors for clients across the UK.
In this role you will work on a multitude of projects in sectors such as education, healthcare, heritage, commercial and industrial, hotels, sports, leisure and residential. Due to increasing workload the practice wishes to take on an RICS qualified Senior Building Surveyor.
Responsibilities
Site visits Undertaking building condition surveys Quinquennial inspections Report writing Preparation of schedules of repairs, planning/listed building/building regulation applications/tender packages Attending meetings Supervision of works Working with clients, consultants, statutory bodies and local authorities Advising on technical issues. Requirements
Ideally a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying and MRICS accreditation- (if not already chartered, then be aspired to work towards their Chartership) Previous work experience essential with a wealth of knowledge in building, construction and Health & Safety related matters. Strong communication skills, self-motivation with the ability to prioritise workload along with good design Technical knowledge to an appropriate level and knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and InDesign.
