We are delighted to be working with a well–established and friendly firm of Chartered Accountants, who are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team based in Hemel Hempstead.

Position: Senior Bookkeeper

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: GBP35,000 – GBP40,000

What will your role entail?

You will take charge of a prestigious portfolio of clients while collaborating closely with the director, your day–to–day duties will include:

Independently managing a diverse portfolio of bookkeeping clientsDirectly engaging with clients to address financial and accounting mattersMaintaining general ledger and computerised accounts for clientsConducting bookkeeping tasks up to trial balanceProcessing invoices and overseeing bank reconciliationsPreparation and submission of VAT returnsDirect liaison with HMRC on behalf of clientsProviding support to junior team members when needed What experience will you have?

Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a UK accountancy practiceProficient knowledge of SageA proactive and can–do attitudeAbility to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when required. What will you get in return?
