THE ROLE

Are you ready to take your technical expertise to the next level? We are seeking a Senior Technician who is passionate about delivering seamless audiovisual and event experiences. In this Unique hybrid role, you'll split your time between the office and on-site project management. As a client-facing expert, you will contribute to project briefs, advising on technical aspects of the brief, and ensuring successful project delivery, all while supporting and reporting to the Commercial Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients during the project brief stage to understand their needs and objectives. Contribute to the development of project proposals and pitches.

Manage and lead a team of technicians, providing guidance and support throughout projects.

Oversee on-site installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of audio-visual and event equipment.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Foster excellent client relationships and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Directly responsible for managing onsite technicians

Proactively identify technical issues and find innovative solutions to ensure a smooth event experience.

Collaborate with the Commercial Director to track project progress and report on performance.

Stay updated on the latest technology trends in audio-visual and event equipment.

THE CANDIDATE

Previous experience with LED walls, screens, VR, and other video products is desirable, as well as 2 - 3 years' experience in event and exhibition space. You must have a driving licence for this role and there will be frequent travel to London and other parts of the UK / Europe.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess comprehensive experience in all aspects of AV service delivery and should demonstrate exceptional communication skills, enabling them to effectively interact with clients.

Have a Proven experience in audiovisual and event equipment management, Strong leadership and project management skills. We are looking for someone with a very strong technical expertise in audiovisual equipment, 4K LED Screens, LED Video Walls, Touch Screen technology, and IT equipment. Willingness to travel and work on-site at various event locations, both nationally and internationally.

A strong and proven knowledge of sound and video engineering is essential for this role. The candidate should also be proficient in working with various software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Watch out, and video and audio protocols for editing purposes.
