Full-time and PermanentLocation: Chelmsford Reed Scientific is partnering with a well-established global organisation providing solutions to the agrochemical sector. They are now looking for a Senior MS Analyst with minimum of 5 years' experience to join their growing team.

The role:

Providing analytical support to environmental fate and residue studiesProviding cross team expert technical support for LC-MS/MS and LC-Accurate Mass method development and instrument troubleshootingIdentifying unknown metabolites and elucidating complex structuresWorking independently with minimum direction within budgets and timescalesStaff training and self-development activities The candidate:

BSc level degree or higher in Chemistry, or similarMinimum 5 years of analytical experience supporting GLP compliant studies or similar, including minimum 2 years of experience in metabolite identification or structure elucidationExperience of structure elucidation to identify unknown molecules and breakdown products from chromatographic dataExperience of LC-MS/MS method development and troubleshootingExperience of LC-MS systems upkeepGood understanding of extraction techniques, including solving extraction issues and developing extraction methodsAble to develop innovative chromatographic and MS methodsAble to work independently Benefits:
