We have a brand-new Year-End Accounts professional opportunity, working for a Midlands based Accountancy Firm in their Stratford-Upon-Avon offices, with flexible hybrid work options available.
As a Senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts through to final stages for your clients, including submission of Corporation Tax forms, liaising with Companies House, HMRC, outsourcing colleagues and clients as required. Working to strict deadlines, you will be looking after numerous client accounts, so the ability to prioritise your workload effectively will be key. With excellent communication skills, you will act as the go to person for clients, ensuring that all year end accounts and corporation tax returns are completed and submitted in good time, as well as working on clients P11d returns.
This is a really varied position, so excellent timekeeping skills will be key as you ensure strict deadlines are achieved for all of your clients, always looking for ways to improve the service they receive from the company. This includes keeping up to date on technical accounting and corporation tax knowledge, new systems and software, offering suggestions to Directors and Managers on any new ways of working or processes you think could be beneficial. To succeed in this great new opportunity, you will have previous year end accounts experience, ideally from within an Accountancy practise, with up-to-date technical knowledge and a good understanding of relevant software and systems. You will have an in-depth knowledge of all relevant legislation and have strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service. Ideally being ACCA or ICAEW qualified, you will have a positive and proactive approach to supporting your clients, have great attention to detail, keen time management skills and bags of initiative.
