Senior Accountant

An excellent opportunity for a qualified/part-qualified or qualifed by experience accountant to join a growing, forward thinking business management consultancy within this newly created position.

EBS provides a complete range of services to internationally owned businesses in the UK from the formation of a company in the UK, outsourced finance office to brokerage services.

As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties within your own portfolio of clients.

Preparation of VAT returns, Payroll, and bookkeeping.

Preparation of Management Accounts

Preparation and submission of 'Year End Accounts' for Limited Companies.

Preparation of all accounting records including finalization and submission of year end accounts for, Holding Companies, LLP's and LP's. To take on full responsibility in terms of preparation of accounting records including finalisation and submission of year end accounts for more complex clients e.g. different corporate structures Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions.

Compliance with the company's internal control policies and procedures.

Prepare the sales & cashflow forecasting for the company. Cooperation with external auditors to carry out the audits for the clients. Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (word, excel and outlook) along with SAGE, IRIS, XERO (desirable) Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Ability to plan, manage and follow through on required work and communicate at all levels of the organisation in a timely and professional manner. We are seeking an experienced accountant, and any additional training will be given by the company to perform the necessary duties of the job role. Experience within a firm of accountants would be highly advantageous. Salary GBP35,000-GBP37,000
