This is a great opportunity for an exceptional teacher looking to further their career within one of the largest Multi Academy Trusts. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and child focused SENDCo who will be joining the leadership team to be the advocate and whole school driving force supporting children with identified SEND needs. You will be responsible for leading and coordinating innovative and evidence-based provision for children who have identified special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Our ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and the desire to enrol and complete relevant SEND CPD and Qualifications. You will have experience of working with parents to support SEND children and proven ability as an excellent classroom teacher. You will bring to the role, your knowledge and thorough understanding of statutory regulations in relation to SEND and equality and have experience of working with a multitude of external agencies. As an IQM Centre of Excellence School we pride ourselves on the SEND support we give to our pupils. Our full time assistant psychologist works closely with the SENDCo to ensure that the provision our pupils receive is exceptional at all times.
Noel Park is an outstanding school with a committed and hard working staff. All staff are provided with a coach and we are currently enrolled in the Instructional Excellence Coaching Programme to ensure an exceptional programme of CPD for all. Our Academy has 600 children aged between 3 and 11. We are situated in the heart of vibrant Wood Green, 2 minutes from the underground station. Noel Park thrives on its multicultural community with over 40 languages and 90% of pupils from minority ethnic backgrounds.
The role is due to commence April 2024.
