Key Responsibilities:
Deliver, and assess high–quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for students with SEND, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership.Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEND, promoting a love for learning.Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and the school. Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEND experience.Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH.Familiarity with the latest SEND legislation and best practices.Strong organisational and communication skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
