As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, contributing to their academic and personal development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will assist in the implementation of tailored learning plans, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one–on–one or small group support to students with SEN.Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans and behaviour plans.Support students in accessing the curriculum and adapting learning materials as needed.Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of support.Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the SEN team. Requirements:
Previous experience working with or supporting students with SEN is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
