Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Epsom, Surrey.
You will be joining a 2 form entry mainstream primary school & nursery who require TA's to support children with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to;
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN), assisting with their learning and development. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to tailor teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Support students in the classroom, helping to create an inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and included. Assist with classroom activities, sensory needs, and behavior management to ensure a positive and engaging educational experience for students. Foster a supportive and caring rapport with students, promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and independence. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and provide regular updates on students' progress and achievements. Requirements:
A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with both students and colleagues. Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable but not essential. Flexibility, patience, and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs and challenges of students with SEN. A willingness to learn and undergo training in relevant areas to enhance your skills and knowledge. Benefits:
