Summary
I am looking for a compassionate and motivated person who has a passion for supporting others.
Your role will involve motivating me to kickstart my mornings with positivity and enthusiasm as a friendly face and encouraging words can make all the difference!
I need someone to remind me to take my medication and help to ensure I stay on top of my health and well-being.
Maintaining my independence is really important to me so I would like support with activities such as cooking my meals.
I would also like support to go out and about to increase my confidence and self-belief to empower me to live my life to the fullest.
The role is for someone who is registered as self employed and checks for this would be made.

Typical duties
Domestic –
Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
Helping with laundry, washing and drying
Loading and unloading the washing machine
Loading and unloading tumble dryer/washing line
Changing bed linen
Bed making
General cleaning
Taking out rubbish
Minor household maintenance eg changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing
Support with preparing drinks, snacks and meals.
Shopping
Tidying
Correspondence e.g. reading letters, help writing replies, form-filling, assisting with household paperwork
Personal Care:
Supervision and/or assistance with showering, drying, hair washing/
Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required
To be on call when employer takes bath
Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings
Supervision with medication and prompts to remind me to take my medication
Social:
Accompanying and assisting on shopping trips when required
Accompany when accessing social and leisure activities
Accompanying to doctors/hospital appointments when required
Accompanying when clothes-buying, including help with un/dressing
Occasional longer journeys
Accompanying on trips out eg to the garden centre, beach, cinema, craft fairs, local visits, out shopping for fun, attending social events, attending therapies and disability group
The above duties will involve driving in the PA’s car.

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
