KM4 - Security Officer/Doorman

Salary: Up to GBP35,000

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Doorman on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To primarily provide a personal and high-level service to all members and guests.To greet members on arrival, to open taxi/car doors and show them into the club.To usher guests out of the club on leaving and into cars/taxis as quickly as quietly.To report any members or guests who cause any noise or nuisance outside the club.To manage the areas on the external four walls of the club.Organise where all drivers/chauffeurs go after arrival and to arrange taxis for whoever needs one on departure.The door staff then have to retrieve the cars/drivers/chauffeurs when the customers are ready to leave.The door team reserve the right to withhold car keys of members who appear to be under the influence of alcohol.The door team are NOT permitted to drive members or guests home in their cars.The door team are there to ensure the safety of all people arriving and departing the club and will not leave the premises at the end of the night until the last guests have left.To do their best to ensure the traffic in the areas around the club premises flowing and avoid traffic jams.To report cars parked illegally be it a member of the club or a member of the public, taking a photo showing the number plate alongside it.The door team will try to shield anybody in the public eye away from any paparazzi that may be present, this includes ushering anybody out of the club via a different exit if require.Do the best to try and accommodate customers wishes within the limits of our insurance, license, and the law.To remain calm and collected at all times. The door team must never ever rise to any threats or provocations by any members, general public or paparazzi.To liaise with the housekeeping team and ensure the areas outside the club are kept litter free, in particular cigarette butts.To ensure no groups of smoker s form outside the surrounding 4 walls of the club.To maintain continuous professional development.To attend any training sessions as required.To be fully conversant with the club fire and emergency procedures.To always ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.To know and follow the Health & Safety at Work Act and comply with the club s Health and Safety policy. Skills and Qualifications:

Valid Driver s Licence.Valid SIA License.Have previous experience as a Doorman/Security Officer. Location: London, Mayfair
