The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Security Controller with experience of working in a Defence or Government setting, and knowledge of the security standards required in such settings.

In the first instance, the Security Controller will establish the processes, policies and ways of working to ensure that the Company operates according to the principles embedded in relevant standards (e.g. contractual, Defence JSPs, Government). Once established as business-as-usual, the post holder will manage ongoing compliance and improvement.

The Security Controller will implement and monitor security controls, maintain security risk registers, respond to security incidents and proactively inspect operations. They will ensure that security is embedded within the Company s ways of working, and guidance, support and training to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including current, prospective and new customers.
