***EXPERIENCED TRANSFER TUTOR FOR SEAG COMMON ENTRANCE ASSESSMENT***
Are you or your child anxious about this year's transfer test? Do you feel your child would benefit from a more bespoke/tailored approach to their learning? I am keen to help! One to one teaching/tutoring is an invaluable resource in order to help children prepare for the transfer process.
I am an enthusiastic, permanent primary school teacher who has a wealth of experience of tutoring for the transfer. I have first hand experience of the format of the new SEAG Common Entrance Assessment having taught P7 for a number of years as well as tutored this new format recently.
I will be happy to provide guidance and advice to parents on what this relatively new exam will entail. Whilst the format is slightly different, much of the content/curriculum remains the same.
I have taught and been tutoring transfer test for the past seven years and am very familiar with the process and the exam technique required to excel. In my experience, focus and a consistent approach is key to improving scores and maintaining high standards in order to help children reach their goal in choosing the school that is right for them.
I have found in recent years that focusing on areas of curricular development first helps really empower and boost confidence in children. Improving self-esteem and focusing on foundation skills initially is something which is of paramount importance to me in my approach to tutoring children. I can assist your child in not only learning the relevant areas for the transfer but also to master these and develop their learning further.
Please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to chat about any queries or questions you may have regarding sessions or my approach to tutoring for the test.
I am based in West Belfast/Lisburn and can accommodate for those in these particular areas. Furthermore, I will travel to you to make life easier as well.
I do expect spaces to fill up quite quickly, half are already filled, so please do get in touch when you can as slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Thanks,
Niall
