Job: Science Technician

Actual Annual Salary: GBP21,146-GBP22,692 per annum (S9-S12), 42.9 weeks -Term Time Only

Start date: January 2024 or as soon as possible

Contract: Permanent, 35 hours a week, 42.9 weeks a year -Term Time Only

Aston Education is working with a large Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham looking for a full-time Science Technician to start in January or as soon as possible.

As a Science Technician you will prepare materials, solutions, specimens and apparatus and ensure that laboratory equipment is in a serviceable and safe condition. You will make sure there are adequate levels of materials and equipment available for use. You'll work in a team of Science Technicians.

The successful candidate will have Degree in Science and awareness of Health and Safety issues. Previous work experience within a school setting would be a distinct advantage.
