Smurfit Kappa Diss are looking for a Sales Team Advisor to join their internal sales team.
Reporting to the Sales Office Team leader, this is a full-time post working 9:00am to 5.30pm each day.
Key job requirements
The Sales Team Advisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily customer interactions as part of the internal sales department including the New Business Team and Customer Services Team. The Sales Team Advisor will be responsible for the provision of quotations, technical support, and customer service administration.
Ensuring all customer enquiries, orders, tooling requirements and complaints are dealt with in a timely and courteous fashion is a fundamental requirement of the role.
Processing of customer orders, amendments, and complaints into ERP systemManage customer stock requirements and call-offs as required.Maintain a knowledge of machinery limitations, products and processes utilising this to provide technical advice to customers.Processing of new tooling requirements to enable the provision of goods to our customers.Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing customer relationships.Ensuring timely communication/correspondence with customers in all areasAssist with the delivery of the business strategies in line with business plans/goals.Comply with business HSE requirements.Complete commercial offers, ensuring these are consistent with the controls which are in place.Chase and provide feedback on commercial offers supplied to customers.Complete customer complaint processes and procedureUtilise the company's businesses systems, databases, processes and procedures to ensure alignment to business requirements.Develop new and utilise existing business analysis and reports as required.Carry out analysis of data for reporting purposes and upkeep of KPI's.Support with the development of process and procedures to enhance their performance and deliver beyond customer expectations.Persist in sales even in the face of failure or negative feedback from customers.Attend meetings to represent the Sales team as required.Answers questions and technical queries from customersAssist the internal sales team meet targets and KPI's during a given period.Demonstrate good time management skills and meets deadlines.Ability to work with other teams and departments to achieve the best outcomes for our customers. Qualifications (essential and desirable)
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) - Grade C or above - EssentialRecognised Customer Service Qualification - Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience (essential and desirable)
Develop an in depth understanding of corrugated manufacturing and company commercial objectives.Demonstrate empathy and patience whilst maintaining focus upon objectives.Be able to identify where plant capabilities meet customer demands and upsell our service.Develop a key understanding of manufacturing needs in relation to efficiencies.Be an effective communicator and listener.Have first class interpersonal skills.Be able to capture and interpret key data to ensure that the best informed decisions are always made.Be innovative and self-driven.Provide relevant business feedback.IT/Excel/inhouse database skillsProven business analytics skills for the provisions of reports and analysis from available data.
