Surveyor Support provides a crucial link between taking early enquiries through the quote process.
The role involves quoting for residential Valuations and Home Surveys, mainly through inbound calls and follow-up emails. A basic understanding and an interest of the property industry is a very helpful in this role, with full training provided.
What You Will Do:
As Surveyor Support, you'll handle outbound quotation follow-ups via email and phone. The job includes conducting desktop research to support Surveyors and Valuers reports, involving local authority planning records and various websites for data collection. Depending on availability, there may also be involvement in sales progression for clients selling under Compulsory Purchase terms, requiring interaction with clients, solicitors, and other professionals.
The ideal candidate should:
Possess strong organisational skills, in order to keep on top of leads Excellent telephone manner and rlationships skills without being overtly 'salesy' Be comfortable following up on both early enquiries and ongoing quotes, proactively making outbound calls to softly chase leads Building rapport with potential clients is integral to the quoting process Ability to ask the right questions and understand requirements
