We have an opportunity available for a New Business/Internal Sales Specialist to join our team based in Bridgwater. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary

Monmouth Scientific Limited (MSL) is a market leading UK based manufacturer of clean air solutions (Filtration Fume Cabinets, Biological Safety Cabinets, Laminar Air, and ISO Class Cleanrooms) for a diverse market base including laboratory, research, pathology, forensics, pharmaceutical, electronics and aerospace.

MSL employs 55 people and is part of the SDI Group who specialise in the scientific industry.

Having recently expanded and moved into a new Somerset based head office we are now looking for a New Business Development Specialist to enable us to accelerate our sales development in the UK.

We need a candidate who has extremely high level of telephone sales skills, is comfortable making sales approaches by telephone and has a drive to expand business through acquisition of new opportunities.

Responsibilities of the New Business/Internal Sales Specialist will include:

As our New Business/Internal Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of customer engagement and the achievement of sales targets through effective;

Researching - use market intelligence, trends, public sector procurement and tender information, industry literature and news sources etc to seek new business opportunities doe MSL. Prospecting - the realisation of sales opportunities gained through research and understanding of market requirements and developments and through strong interaction with customers. Lead Qualification - manage in-bound opportunities, understand the customer requirements, book face to face meetings for the technical filed sales reps Teamwork - where appropriate and necessary to pass lead intelligence to the field based technical Sales Specialist and work in close liaison with them to complete the sale Use of Quotations - use quotations as proposals to prospective customers to highlight the benefit and price structure of the MSL offering. Generation of Orders - through the diligent follow-up of quotations and by dealing with customer objections Use of CRM - use and develop the MSL CRM tool to track and monitor sales opportunities and further promote the wider use of this tool to enable strong organisation of the team sales effort. Essential key skills we're looking for in our New Business/Internal Sales Specialist:

Confidence and an ability to sell technical solutions by telephone and via email communications etc The ability to understand customer applications and needs (frequently science and chemistry) and to translate these into sales benefits and sales offerings Strong organisation, and self-motivation Ability to manage a CRM tool Scientific or Technical Sales background is desirable If you think that you have the skills and experience to become our New Business/Internal Sales Specialist, click apply today to submit your CV and covering letter.
