Overview:
Our friendly, rapidly expanding client in the flexographic print packaging sector are seeking to recruit a Sales Office Manager to head up their brand-new Sales Admin office.
The role will be to effectively co-ordinate and manage the internal Sales Office Team as a point of contact for customers relating to all enquiries and orders. To pro actively build and maintain relationships with customers. Lead and guide staff within the team, set sales goals, assign responsibilities and training.
Key Accountabilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities and operations of the sales office.Ensure customers' requirements are adhered to by all internal sales staff.Ensure all sales order information is correct and specifications are agreed and signed off by the customer.Schedule and prioritize office activities to meet operating requirements.Determine, plan and direct workflow.Develop and monitor internal controls.Analyse workflow issues and implement workable solutions.Ensure adherence to quality standards are followed.Develop effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders.Initiate necessary training, guidance, and motivation to staff.Initiate and maintain records in compliance with BRC.Ensure that the customer orders are clearly identified for FSC products.Act as liaison with other departments.Ensure that the principal responsibilities of the Internal Sales Support Team are met. Responsibilities of Sales Office team:
To ensure proactive contact and account management is maintained. Keep up to date with developments and innovations which may provide the business with a competitive advantage either commercially or to improve efficiencies and/or quality.To respond to all customer enquiries in a timely manner ensuring that where necessary all coordination of supplier pricing, material & product availability, technical specifications, and production capabilities has been effectively managed.To ensure the effective coordination and distribution of information both internally and externally.To facilitate effectively all customer pricing enquiries, making proactive contact with customers, suppliers, and the production team where necessary and procuring the necessary information to facilitate a positive outcome.To manage the administration of customer product and price lists.To ensure the effective implementation of all product price movements (increases or decreases) to all customers working closely with the Sales Director to achieve this.To support the other members of the internal sales team to ensure first class customer service and administration is always maintained for all customers.To maintain up to date knowledge of the flexibles market materials, products, innovations, and service offerings.To ensure compliance with BRC and all company policies and procedures at all times.To ensure compliance with FSC requirements all times.Additional administrative and general office duties as requested.
