Rotaflow Talent Solutions has partnered with a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke pumping solutions. Due to a developing global presence this manufacturer is looking to expand its UK business as well as across Europe, Middle East & Africa and is now looking to recruit a sales manager - energy to develop its pipeline and sales of bespoke Industrial Pumps and Systems.
This role will be expected to identify opportunities and develop key and strategic relationships focusing on energy sectors such as nuclear and renewable projects mainly within the UK and later in Europe the Middle East and Africa. The role will be focused on establishing approved vendor status with end users and EPC contractors within the energy sector. It is also an excellent opportunity to drive product development and marketing efforts into the energy sector.
As the area continues to develop and grow in line with company targets there are excellent opportunities to develop into a more global role to develop and take on further territories.
Key Requirements:
3 years of experience strategically selling industrial machinery, capital equipment solutions Experience in a national or regional technical sales role Experience in the Energy sector such as Nuclear, Hydrogen or Renewables is advantageous but not essential A proven track record of developing existing accounts and business development and the ability to develop and execute a strategic plan Technical sales experience and the ability to grasp complex engineering and understand customer technical requirements Ideally, you will have a mechanical, electrical or business qualification but strong sales candidates without this will also be considered Proven track record and drive for business development and developing key accounts Be willing to travel to meet customers across the region
You will be working typically as a sales engineer / manager, key account manager, technical sales manager, sales specialist, or business development manager role. Related industries include compressors, turbomachinery, turbines, motors, gearboxes, mixers, agitators, process systems, condensate systems, skid packages, valves, and flow control systems.
