Our client is a young, independent home improvement company specialising in the supply and installation of high-quality aluminium, uPVC glazing and conservatory roof replacements across East Anglia. Their mission is to change the perception of the double-glazing industry; rather than using traditional hard selling tactics, they provide genuine solutions to their customers wants and needs.
As a Technical Sales Executive, you will represent the face of the company and be the first point of contact to our customers. You will schedule and attend meetings with customers in their homes (and remotely) via inbound enquiries, proactively reach out to new clients/customers, make outbound calls/emails and attend events/network to seek new business opportunities. You will provide information and support related to the products and services we offer.
You will educate customers about product features/operation and benefits, answer questions, carry out initial surveys, and assist with orders. You will also play a key part in the customer journey from order through to completion and aftersales. The role will include developing and learning new skills and applying these to improved ways of working. You may also analyse industry or customer trends and contribute to strategic marketing and sales planning.
What you will need:
A minimum of 2 years experience in a senior sales and/or customer service role (face to face is desirable) Experience in business development Technical product sales experience is essential preferably in an external sales role. You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels, clearly and professionally via app, email, phone, and face-to-face. Confident using a CRM and similar software, Google mail, docs, sheets, PDFs and calendar. Trustworthy, reliable, driven, proactive and able to use your own initiative What the role offers:
Starting salary of GBP30-35k/annum (DOE) GBP60-70k/annum OTE. Company car/small van provided. Mon-Fri, 39 hours per week, flexibility is essential, occasional weekend work may be required. Due to the nature of the role, you must have a full, clean DVLC and live within reasonable commuting distance of our clients head office in Norwich.
