About the Client:
Our client is a leading GBP60M supplier of a range of flow meters, valves and temperature control products for a range of industries including automotive, oil & gas, and for general industrial environments. They supply their products worldwide through their strong sales team and online store.
The business has ambitious plans for the future and are looking to reach a GBP100M turnover within the next 3–5 years.
Sales Director – The Role:
This is the most important role for the business and will be responsible for driving sales. It will set the sales strategy for the business and ensure that the sales team have the right systems (e.g. CRM) and processes in place. The role will analyse market trends, initiate promotions and pricing, and develop an understanding of their customers spending habits. The role will be an individual contributor and take a hands on approach to driving revenue.
Sales Director – Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement the sales strategy
– Analyse market trends and customer spending habits
– Manage and develop the sales team
– Provide monthly, quarterly and annual sales reports on sales revenue, forecasts and KPI performance
– Ensure you achieve your individual and team sales targets
Sales Director – You:
– Proven track record in driving sales and achieving targets
– Experience with B2B/B2B2C sales
– Strong team management experience
– Ability to communicate effectively
– Ambitious and driven, willing to travel to meet customers and suppliers
