Citrus Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Co–ordinator to work for a family run business. This is a brand–new role as part of an exciting growth journey over the next few years.You will be playing a central role in supporting the sales and operations departments. You'll be responsible for costings and quotations, sales administration, managing inbound inquiries, following up on quotations, generating new business, margin protection, and ensuring accurate quotations.You'll be working closely with an established sales team and experienced estimator, building close working relationships with the management team and the project team too.This role will involve some travel to the head office which is in the Midlands, so you must have a driving license.If you're looking for a fresh start in an exciting new role, and you have a background in sales and administration, this could be the role for you.Responsibilities & day to day duties Quoting and costing projects that come in through mailbox or from sales managers. Managing the general email inbox and the inbound enquiries that come into it. Following up on quotes issued at the request of Commercial Estimator or Sales Managers. New Business Development, targeted to make outbound calls to play companies, schools, councils to generate new and repeat business. General Sales Admin ensuring the folders on our shared drive are correct when being handed over to operations.Skills & experience required as a Sales Co–ordinator Experience in an office–based role, ideally transferable skills that can be used in sales and administration. Excellent levels of customer service and good at problem solving Must be able to work at a fast pace with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and IT skills. Energetic, motivated, and enthusiastic. Collaborative team player. Self motivated with a flexible approach Be prepared to travel around Midlands which could include overnight stays.
