They have seen steady growth year on year in the UK and overseas and are well established in their industry.
Their client base is primarily in specialist sectors and industries as well as project cargo.
Ideally you will have a minimum 3 years previous sales / business development experience and preferably within air freight, though ocean freight would be equally good. Industries such as aerospace, pharma, automotive or project cargo are ideal for this role.
Prospecting new clients will primarily be within the UK and also the US, Canada, EU, Australia and Middle East.
Main responsibilities include:
Development of new sales pipeline and will include short, medium and long term prospects, Prospecting, engagement, closing skills and also the on-boarding of new clients Become involved in development of company sales systems and processes Pricing, quotation and issuing client tariffs Attending network events and industry related events Will involve UK and some overseas travel opportunities Collaboration with our overseas sales teams The position will in time involve building and managing a sales team in the UK. There is scope for progression within this role.
