As Scotland s largest family-owned furniture and homewares retailing group and with 50 years of market experience, our aim is to continue sourcing the highest quality on-trend products so the customer can find everything relating to the home under one roof. In 2019, we opened our first brand new concept store Sterling Home in Uddingston, Glasgow to enormous success. From 2020 through 2022, we followed up with refurbishing and rebranding our Dunfermline, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen stores to the same standard. This year we are in the midst of new projects with further exciting developments around the corner! Role
To help customers identify and purchase products they desire, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service is delivered. Part-Time: weekends with some availability during the week
Responsibilities
• Provide a high class customer service and increase company growth and revenue through sales
• Manage point of sale processes
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Assist with sales process by maintaining a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customer needs and sell an array of products for the home
• Restocking and merchandising
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Follow all company policies and procedures
Candidate Requirements
• Proven working experience in retail sales is desirable
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficient in English with solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Friendly, engaging and helpful personality
