As a purchasing and sales team member you will be working with teams all over the world, including Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. Technical knowledge or experience of Valves (actuated and manual), flame arrestors, Tank Protection, Failsafe Equipment, Metering systems, Pipes, Seals, Gaskets and Process Water Treatment would be advantageous.
Own transport is essential for travel to and from the workplace as based on the outskirts of Colchester. This role would be suited to someone looking to gain valuable experience in the field of international trade and Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) purchasing.
Duties include but not limited to:
Liaising daily with suppliersObtaining pricingPreparing quotesNegotiation of price and terms of businessPlacing and handling purchase ordersCustomer service and updating customers in a timely manner.Working closely with other teamsUpdating MRO systems accuratelyService-related duties You will be confident and have a background within this field or similar.
Skills that would be advantageous: Engineering, Logistics or a Foreign language.
