Description

Our client based in Banbury is looking to acquire the services of a Sales and Customer Service Advisor to join their team. This role involves accurately processing and recording orders to make sure they go out in a timely manner. The ideal candidate would be someone with previous experience working in a Customer Service role and have good interpersonal skills.Main Responsibilities Order processing including inputting and liaison with Despatch/Trading departments to ensure deadlines are met. Telephone enquiries – stock enquiries, technical queries, and other customer requirements (up to 60 calls per day at peak times). Email enquiries – stock enquiries, technical queries, and other customer requirements. Key account management to support Area Sales Managers. Telephone account management of smaller accounts. Monitor and control special orders including bespoke customer requirements. Claims and credit processing. Dealing with customer queries surrounding deliveries and invoicing, including liaising with couriers to resolve issues. Liaising with other departments within the company to complete and resolve customer service issues, including: Technical enquiries Returns Management Despatch Trading UK Manufacturing departments Process customer payments accurately. General Administration duties/housekeeping. From time to time any other reasonable duties as may be reasonably requested by the Line Manager. The position carries the responsibility for carrying out all duties to the required standard as indicated by the Line Manager and professional codes of conduct and regulations.Key Skills Good numeracy & literacy skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisation skills – time management, ability to prioritise & meet project deadlines. Forward–thinker, able to identify and minimise problems before they occur. Experience in following critical paths and timelines. Self–motivated and positive attitude to self–development.
