The Company
Assured Safety Recruitment is seeking to recruit a SHEQ advisor on behalf of a successful logistics group. The group partner and have long terms relationships with some of the UKs leading ecommerce retailers.
You will be a key part of the central SHEQ Team, helping promote the Safety, Health and Environment Culture as part of new journey and approach to SHE. You will report into the Head of Health and Safety and take responsibility for safety, health, environment and quality activities at the Bradford site as well as contributing to wider group projects and initiatives.
As Safety, Health and Environment Advisor you will be responsible for;
Overseeing ensuring any site incidents are investigated & learnings / controls are implemented Contributing to the site Continuous Improvement Program ensure progress is made towards safety, health, environment, and quality goalsChampioning initiatives to encourage site risk reductionConducting safety. Health and environment site inspectionsCoordinating health & safety training/courses as and when requiredCollating data for KPI s and submitting reportsCoordinating progress and documentation relating to the ISO programLiaising with both internal/external customersPromote a positive safety, health & environmental culture across the site &Support other regional sites and team members as required About you:
You will hold a Nebosh Certificate and have experience within a logistics/distribution, retail or manufacturing environmentYou will have previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor or Coordinator or similar role. Environment or Quality experience isn t essentialYou will strong self-motivation and organisational skillsYou will enjoy spending time on the shopfloor engaging and activating a positive health and safety cultureISO systems experience would be advantageous alternatively you will have an interest in developing your skills and knowledge in ISO systems Assured Safety Recruitment are a specialist Health and Safety recruitment company operating across the UK.
