Job Title: Safety Footwear Technician

Location: Kettering

Salary: GBP20,462 – GBP24,786 per annum.

Hours: Day shift – 37.5 hours a week

About Us: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail–oriented individual to join our team as a Safety Footwear Technician in our Footwear Testing department. As a leading player in the industry, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality in all our products.

Responsibilities: As a Safety Footwear Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Operating standard laboratory equipment in accordance with Health and Safety assessments and test methods to conduct routine physical testing.Taking responsibility for specific aspects of laboratory and stores maintenance and upkeep.Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory. About You: The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (NVQ L3).Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.Ability to work to deadlines, producing accurate, detailed results.Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the laboratory team.Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills.High level of written and oral communication, with meticulous attention to detail.Previous test laboratory experience is advantageous, as is knowledge of footwear construction and materials (full training will be provided).Flexibility, tenacity, and a 'can–do attitude' are essential for success in this role.
