My 1970 Rover P6 3500 is a true classic that has been well-maintained and is ready to be a superb daily driver. With an automatic transmission, and a strong V8 engine, this car is perfect for someone looking for a vintage vehicle that can still keep up with modern traffic. The exterior is a vibrant red colour, with an iconic black gloss roof. The black interior seats, are in very good general condition, with a couple of quite well done patches. Ceiling and carpets are in excellent condition.
Paint and body are in great shape, for her age. No rust to speak of, even (notoriously) in the boot. Few blemishes here and there.
Starts first time, and runs and sounds fantastic.
Just had Diiff replaced, and new oil and filters. Brakes are superb, having been overhauled last year by the fastidious previous owner.
The underside of this beauty can be described with one word.. Incredible!
Despite being unrequired, the car has had an MOT for every year! In keeping with that brilliant tradition, I can supply her with a NEW MOT.
A beautiful example of a classic Rover and REALLY turns heads wherever she goes.
Genuine reluctant sale.
ND... The option of Power Steering was not taken up by the original owner. Im 65, and don't really have a problem with that, but takes a little effort to turn from standstill. A little exercise never hurt anyone!
Also.. The car was maintained superbly for decades by the long term owner. I was told by his son that the massive history files were lost, when he unfortunately passed away. He had the car MOT'D every year, regardless of the fact that MOT was not actually needed, for the last 20 odd years!
Car is listed elsewhere, so auction may be ended at any time.
