Join us on the journey We have an excellent opportunity for a Regional Route Revenue Manager to join our Head office working hybrid, two days a week in central Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
The day to day management of a portfolio of routes, overseeing all pricing and revenue management, with targeted KPI's and responsibility for delivering the budgeted revenue growth. Line management responsibility for Route Analysts. Deputising for Head of Yield & Inventory management where necessary.
What you'll do
Manage revenue for a defined route portfolio, monitoring performance and managing all pricing initiatives aimed to maximise revenue. Review route profitability and develop strategies and initiatives to improve the portfolio P&L. Continue to evolve & develop pricing strategy ensuring it is revenue optimal based on demand by time of day, day of week, lead time and channel Ensure best practice shared across the revenue management function to define ongoing pricing strategies. Support the test & learn program, ensuring that all learnings are appropriately evaluated, captured and shared. Implement competitor monitoring processes, making sure the team have full awareness of new competitors, schedule changes, pricing changes and any events/disruption which could result in revenue opportunities. Support wider revenue management team where appropriate. Become a consultant for trading performance, and offer support where holiday/recruitment limit resources. Input into the budgeting and forecasting process for the portfolio, with targeted KPI's to deliver budgeted revenue. Provide regular daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting to the commercial team, analysing key areas of opportunity or under performance. Manage, develop and coach the Route Analyst by performing monthly one to ones and coaching sessions.
What you'll need
Previous experience with revenue management essential Excellent leadership skills Graduate calibre. Mathematics/Economics/Statistics degree would be beneficial. Good communication skills, both verbal and written with experience of presenting to the senior management team Very strong work ethic, ability to prioritise and multitask in fast paced environment Intermediate / Advanced Excel skills Exceptional critical thinking skills and the ability to make confident business decisions under tight deadlines
