Roller Shutter Engineer

Full-time, Monday to Friday, salary between GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 depending on experience

The role will involve working as the Lead Engineer in a team of two to undertake surveys, installations, repairs and maintenance to the following products: Roller Shutters, Industrial Doors, Sectional Overhead Doors, Fire Rated Shutters, Steel Hinged Doors and Security Grilles.

There will be a degree of travel regionally and possibly some nationally. Most of the work will be around the Midlands, Yorkshire, North East and North West. On very rare occasions this may include working away from home, all accommodation and meals will be paid for by the company.

Skills, Education and Experience:

3 years minimum time served in the door industry. Full UK Driver s Licence Less than 6 points All relevant Cards/certificates (CSCS card, PASMA, Working at Heights, manual handling, asbestos awareness). Not all are mandatory only CSCS. Competencies/Knowledge

Self-Motivation and drive to succeed. Communication and interpersonal skills (Both internal and external) Time management and organisation. Self-starter. DBS Checks Team player. Good Fault / Problem solving skills (Essential) Company Van provided All Electrical and hand Tools provided PPE provided and Company Uniform Provided. Product training where necessary is provided.
