I believe this is maybe two years old. I am very happy with it but choosing to upgrade to a higher spec model. It works best in large spaces in my experience. It is no louder than a hair dryer. Has some limited ability to 'climb' for short ascents and decent. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Works fine without the remote. Comes with original box, spare brushes, manual. Happy to deliver within a 10 mile radius.
