These services are delivered across our Assessment, Employability, Wellbeing, Citizen Services and Environment divisions.Our Reed Assessment division, a national provider of trusted and secure testing and assessments, is planning for the significant expansion of its testing operations during 2024. We are currently bidding for the delivery, on behalf of the Standards and Testing Agency (STA), of Key Stage 1 & 2 testing to all Primary School students in England. Securing this multi–million pound contract would see Reed Assessment responsible, directly and through its supply chain partners, for the production, distribution, marking and moderating of all key stage tests across Primary Schools.We are now looking to build an experienced implementation and delivery team ready to successfully mobilise this contract from April 2024. Please note, this is a Fixed term contract for 15.5 months starting in April 2024.Please note, expensed travel including potential overnight stays will be expected at key points of the implementation cycle, the frequency of which will vary. Job Description:Reed in Partnership is a Public Service provider, and we are looking for an experienced Risk Manager for the STA project that is implementing the administration, delivery and marking of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 tests in Primary Schools in the UK.The Risk Manager will report to the Head of Implementation and Projects and will work closely with staff across the business including members of the wider Implementation Team, Supply Chain Management, Business Development, Continuous Improvement Management, Finance, MI, Operations, and other teams as required.Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills will be required. Previous knowledge or experience of RAID management would be an advantage across a complex project delivery. Experience in report production for wide ranging audiences would be an advantage.Responsibilities include: Day–to–day interactions between all project stakeholders relating to any RAID activity.Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the RAID data and actions across the project.Facilitation and participation in risk and control relayed activities and meetings.Recommending control improvements and risk mitigation activity to appropriate stakeholders.Working with the Workstream Leads, business directors and any other stakeholders to identify, assess, mitigate, report, and monitor RAID activities.Provision of appropriate oversight and challenge as required.Offer continuous support to ensure that RAID item owners understand their role and responsibilities, and execute their responsibilities effectively as assigned/accountable owners.Responsibility for the coordination and reporting of all RAID items and that all information is current and accurate.Travel to the West Midlands region (Birmingham) will be expected at key points of the implementation cycle, the frequency of which will vary.
