My story
Introducing Ricky! At 6 months old, this handsome pooch hails from Native Lands where he and his siblings were rescued as strays.. You may notice Ricky has a slightly crooked smile. His attentive foster mom noticed it right away and took him to the vet where we learned Ricky had suffered a broken jaw as a young puppy. The vet stated that Ricky's jaw was already healed so there wasn't anything to be done. Most people might not even notice and it certainly doesn't bother Ricky. He eats his kibble fine and is simply one of the happiest dogs ever! His lineage is uncertain but he appears to have some Australian Cattle Dog, maybe some Australian Shepherd,- it's all just a guess. What we do know is that he is a delight! He welcomes play time with the other dogs in his home and is outgoing and friendly with both canines and humans. Check out the videos of him playing with his canine pals!!
Ricky sleeps soundly in his crate at night. He is 90% house trained with only an occasional accident (usually after a play session with his brother). Ricky is a typical puppy while walking on a leash. He wants to sniff everything and sometimes pulls. He's working on his leash manners! Ricky is a little shy at first but once he trusts, he'wants all the pets!! Ideal home for Ricky would have a fenced in yard and perhaps a dog friend to romp around with.
